Why use a journal?
there are so many reasons to use a journal but here are just a few:
to help organize your thoughts to see your progress overtime to help you reflect on your sessions get the most out of your time with your therapist
Why a Therapy Journal?
As a therapist, one of the things I have heard from my clients is that they struggle with what to bring up in session, whether it is organizing their thoughts, trying to prioritize topics or even trying to actually remember because of the time between sessions.
So that is where the idea for this journal was born. I made it so that my clients as well as clients everywhere could utilize a journal to get the most out of therapy and to help on their healing journey that was easy to use and guided!
what can I expect?
This journal was built with clients in mind and is made for the person who may struggle with journaling. It is made to use if you go to therapy weekly, bi-weekly or any time frame you need it.
It doesn’t have time expectations so if you miss a week, that is totally okay! Each week has an area to plan and reflect on each session that you have. There is an activity for each week that you can do which is all meant to enhance your therapy process. There are even resources within the journal like coping skill ideas, self care ideas, and even an area to set your goals for therapy.
This journal is meant to be an asset and not a burden.
